Objectives

BBCI is working proactively to combat crime and anti-social behaviour to make sure that Bolton Town Centre continues to be a safe environment for people to live, work and visit.

• To reduce crime, violence and fear of crime for the benefit of Business, employees, customers and visitors to Bolton Town Centre and peripheral crime displacement areas.

• To protect visitors, customers, employees and property from acts of criminality including Theft, Physical or verbal violence, fraud/ Deception, Criminal Damage and any behaviour that is deemed anti social.

• To exclude persistent criminals from member premises and where appropriate seek Anti Social Behaviour Orders to protect the community as a whole.

• To create an environment that is vibrant, safe and beneficial to economic growth.

• To ensure the town centre meets the demands associated with a 24/7 economy
